Blues To The River - New Solo Album - Out Now!
Ben Tyzack’s first solo album ‘ Blues To The River’ is a collection of original compositions featured as a story that flows along.
Opening with the delicate and hypnotic ‘Morning Train’ through the southern gothic atmosphere of ‘Such A Southern Place To Be’. The ride continues through various styles from the intimate settings of ‘Midnight Mademoiselle’ and ‘Hold Me Still’ to the driving delta blues of ‘Layin’ Down Lincolns’. Throughout the album there are extended instrumental passages that give space for all the songs to breath, finishing with the title track ‘Blues To The River’ a journey all in its self that doesn’t seem to arrive but just continues winding along forever into the distance.
